This stylish extension and renovation in Newport created a bright warm home for the clients and provided the additional space required for their growing family.

The existing weatherboard home was given a much needed facelift while new spaces were created inside its existing walls. In the new split level extension, a large cathedral ceiling was built, creating a feeling of space and light through all the main living areas. Outside, a mixture of solid timber cladding and contemporary concrete sheeting finishes were used to secure the home.

A detached outhouse linked together with Bluestone paving created somewhere to entertain whilst also providing somewhere for visiting guests to stay.
