Meet Luke

I’m Luke, a dad of three kids with a genuine passion for building high quality architecturally designed homes.

Having started a carpentry apprenticeship after finishing high school I quickly developed a love for the trade. I spent the next several years learning and developing the skills and experience I needed to become a builder, culminating in obtaining my builders licence and starting Parker Building Melbourne.

In my spare time I love to get away with the family in our caravan, ideally near a coastline!
I love surfing, bike riding, swimming, wood working and occasionally letting my hair down.

Meet the team

Site Manager and carpenter Heath has a huge amount of experience in all aspects of construction, he’s hands on with a great ability to problem solve and innovate. Out of work hours you’ll find him on his motorbike or working on his church in Carisbrooke.


Project Coordinator Sam handles everything behind the scenes, from architect communication, claims and variations, to project scheduling and file management, ensuring each project runs as smoothly as it should. Between emails he enjoys all things music and food.


Site Foreman and carpenter Connor has worked for Parker Building since the beginning of his apprenticeship. He is ambitious and determined and plans to become a builder one day himself. When off the tools Connor loves playing footy and captains his local team - a strong example of his leadership qualities.


Site Foreman and carpenter Archer also started at Parker Building at the beginning of his apprenticeship. He has a strong work ethic with a very high attention to detail, he’s continually honing his craft and learning everything he can about the building industry. Archer loves to keep fit and enjoys all things water related - sports, drinking it, you name it.


Qualified Carpenter Cooper is our most recently qualified carpenter. He joined Parker Building as a labourer for some extra cash and to dip his toe in the construction industry after working in disability care. He fell in love with the work and the team team environment and has been building knowledge and career ever since. Cooper coaches skateboarding and enjoys surfing in his spare time and is a favourite with our clients.


Labourer Sean is our go to guy for anything and everything that needs to be done; deliveries, site cleans, scaffolding and generally being everyone’s right hand. He loves playing tennis in his spare time and keeping everything neat and tidy - he is a favourite with our team.

    It’s the little things that make a project, from the design details like the continuity of lines, material junctions, finishes and coatings, to ensuring architect instructions are understood and scrupulously carried out.

    We are constantly looking for ways to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of a build and a having a builder that is passionate about design ensures that yours and your architects vision is bought to life as intended. 

  • We believe transparency is critical to the confidence and trust we build with our clients. We are upfront with our costs and make this clear from the get go.

    We are always happy to share pricing from sub contractors with our clients to show the costs involved in a project, or to help inform cost saving actions or alternative solutions.

    During your build, if unforeseen issues arise, we will contact you promptly along with the architect to discuss the options for a solution. If a variation is required, it will be provided as a detailed breakdown with justification of any costs involved.

    We know the importance of a client understanding where their money is being spent and are always available for a chat if needed.
