This project was a top to bottom renovation and large scale extension that included a double garage with living quarters above.
The heritage façade of the property was meticulously restored to heritage details with the remaining exterior completed in a combination of standing seam metal cladding, polished concrete render and brickwork. An existing outhouse was gutted and incorporated into the new build with the external red brickwork becoming an internal finish that made for a neat detail.
With the building envelope going all the way to the rear boundary and meeting an alley, planning and efficient site access management were paramount to the the success of the project, which included the use of a large underground water tank to service the grey water on site.
The final result was exceptional, and one of our favourite projects to date
